On 21st and 22nd September 2022, the fourth and last transnational meeting of the ‘Radio-Theater: Tales of the Quarantine‘ project was held in Valladolid, Spain. After a year and a half of intensive work, the partners finally completed all the objectives set by the project: the recording and publication of 10 podcasts per country (remember that the consortium is made up of partners from Spain, Portugal, Romania and Italy) lasting around 20 minutes each about the period of lockdown and the creation of a manual that will soon be made available on the project’s official website.

The partners, hosted by the Spanish coordinator Consejo de la Juventud de Castilla y Leon and with the support of the partner Aspaym, met to verify that all previous commitments had been fulfilled and to say goodbye with sadness but at the same time much satisfaction.

This meeting was particularly important for other reasons: on 22nd September, in fact, the multiplier event envisaged by the project also took place, with many young participants (some even with disabilities of various kinds) having fun making a small improvised prodcast. That’s right: because in addition to finally presenting the results of the project to the public, about 30 young people were also given the opportunity for the first time to try their hand at the topics of the four online workshops that took place throughout the duration of the project.

Finally, the partners also visited the ‘Espacio Joven Norte’ in Valladolid: a place dedicated to young people aged between 14 and 35 where they can realise their aspirations and put their passions into practice.

It was a very intense two days, but full of opportunities, experiences and smiles.

We would like to thank all of the project partners: Aspaym Castilla y Leon, Rosto Solidario, CEIPES, Gamma Institute and the coordinator Consejo de la Juventud Castilla y Leon.

Farewell, Radio-Theater! ¡Gracias por todo!
